Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was just a teenager at the time she was employed at Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. The family grew up living in Canyon Country with her three brothers and sisters in California. At the age of 4 she was able to start acting. At the beginning of her career she was an extra for TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. When she was thirteen, her debut role in a movie Friday was filmed. The film first gained attention during 1997 due to her performance in the role of Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) in Eve's Bayou, for which she was nominated twice and also received an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good started with minor roles in film and on TV for a couple of years before moving into adult roles in the early 2000s. In Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter she played Nina. The show ran from 1998 to 2001. In addition, she had small parts in the movies House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She played Vanessa Scott in the 2003 comedy My Wife and Kids. She was on D.E.B.S (2004), a comedy action film. The movie won her the award of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. She then appeared in a variety of different films including Cookout one missed call Waist deep The Love Guru and You Have Serve. She continued to be active both on T.V. and films, she portrayed the character of Mya in the multi-starring Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer originates from Texas initially, went to Baylor University Waco Texas. From there she graduated with the bachelor's. The year she graduated, Killmer graduated with an award in performance art. She began her on-screen career in 2010 in the web-based series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in several local plays. She was a part of Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream in the pilot episode. The show was based on a group of performers that move into the house of Hollywood California.
