Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born on the 19th of November, 1959. 2] She is an American actor. She is well-known for her performance across many genres on stage and screen during her career of three decades. Janney has won numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to receiving nominations for Two Tony Awards. Janney was raised in Dayton and Boston by her parents, received a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for her to study further after graduation from Kenyon College. Janney was credited for a number of small and very rare appearances on film and television in the past. Her most memorable part as C. J. Cregg in NBC's The West Wing (1999-2006) brought her four Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won her the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress in for a Drama Series for her performance in Margaret Scully's role on Masters of Sex. She is most famous for her character Bonnie Plunkett.
